New CD released by Eddy Doran Band

Hi Friends,

I am glad to announce the release of the Eddy Doran Band CD/EP. It is a nice piece of work we have produced. It is available at all major online stores in the web like Amazon, Rapsody, i-Tunes, e-Music.

This CD incorporates 15 Minutes of groove jazz blues and swing tunes with an great sound from our Panamanian Insomino Studio friends.

Recorded and Mixed at: Insomino Studios Panama City, Panama.

Produced by: Eddy Doran and Volli Hofschildt.

Musicians: Edward (Doran) Thurston – Piano, Vocals. Evert (Feeling) Corvanacas – Bass. Volker (Volli) Hofschildt – Drums, back up vocals.

Album Cover designed and painted by: Sonia Bibiana.

Volli4Drums & Eddy Doran Band EP-Album – JAZZ GROOVE -

Hi Friends,

finally it is done and the Eddy Doran Band EP-Album – JAZZ GROOVE - will be released soon. It is a nice piece of work with great tunes we have recorded in Panama City, Panama.

  I am back in my home town in good old Nordenham (Germany) were I will spent some time together with Family and Friends, I liked Panama pretty much but it was time to go on with other things I do, so I am back to my roots.  I also will have soon the EP-Album online under my Label for a download available and keep you posted once it is out.

Please stay tuned because I promise it is worth to wait just a little longer…..

Release of a Live CD with EDB.

Hi I just released a live CD me playing with the Eddy Doran Band in Panama. Its a live cut from the Panama Jazz Festival

and it has some nice tunes on it, simply live pure does it calls and it is available at all known Online Stores like I-Tunes,

Amazon and others.

In a few weeks EDB will akso release its first Studio Album which currently is beeing mixed at the Studio. I will keep you

posted as soon as it comes out.

Studio recordings with EDB

Since May 01. we are recording tracks for the upcoming Eddy Doran Band CD.

We are recording at the Insomnio Studios in Panama City with Pablo Quintero as Sound-Engineer and I have to say he is very good in what he is doing. The interesting part is that we are recording Digital via pro-tools in HD via this analog Console.

 

This is the only Studio in Panama who provides an analog/digital sound mix and this shall give us the best sound because this kind of music EDB does requires an natural live sound.   

So far we have finished 3 Songs which will be mixed and mastered next week, ED then will use those up front to promote the upcoming Album.  The release is scheduled for June….

I am going to play in the Union Club Panama

I will play with The Eddy Dorian Band in March and April every Friday at the famous private Club of Panama City, the Union Club Panama !

The Band will play at the terrace from 7:00 to 10:00 pm every Friday night. It’s an honor to play in this Club because this host Members of the so called high society of Panama only. As an musician you have to play their at least once to become famous too… So this is it !
