Here are my demo- videos with some rhythm examples. Beginner as well as seasoned drummer are invited to try out these basic grooves.
This first video demonstrates a Jazz-groove in a 4/4 time beat:

The second video will show a rhythm change from the Jazz groove above into a Funk-groove and all in the same 4/4 time beat.

As you may see and hear I like to combine my grooves with triole (tripple) fill, breaks and snare-rolles which makes it fun to play.

  • The following videos will demonstrate some basic standard rhythms in different time beats, for example I play a Blues-groove in a 6/8 time beat and a technicly advanced Rock-groove in the same 6/8 time beat. Or the famous 5/6 Jazz-groove of "Take 5". You also find some basic Latin-  rhythms below as well as other groove demonstrations...

  •  If you want to practice those rhythms then I highly recommend you start first the count-technique in order to determine the beat and understand the groove of those rhythms. Just watch and count first before you play it...
